I love doing webinars, and cycling.

You have made webinars fun for me. This is about my 5th round helping you make your CEU's. More importantly the feedback is that the events are insightful and useful. I notice some other things:

  • Almost all last until the end of the sessions, and vast majority last for the after session.
  • Questions are great and challenging. I get a real understanding where people are coming from on these vital building envelope topics.
  • Real projects come from these webinars.

I want to tell you a story. After our GFRC webinar in 2024 a leading Architecture firm brought us in and put drawings up on the screen - pretty much got everything right. We worked in a very collaborative fashion on the preassembly and connection details. Could not believe it.

So again thank you. Feel free to contact me to discuss what you are seeing, questions you might have, or ideas to share.

Do you know I have issued well over 2000 learning certificates in the last few years!

2026 Win-WinWebinars

Dekton: Simple, Integrated, and Iconic Facades

U-Kon: From Simple to Passive: Learn from the Experts in Subsystems

CERACLAD: Become More Competitive in Mid-Rise Facade Design

Dekton is one of the few façade materials that works across many building types. Today we’ll look at three things: simple and cost-effective 8 mm façade systems, integrated applications in curtain wall and prefabricated wall systems, and how architects around the world are using Dekton to create bold, iconic buildings.

CERACLAD: Become More Competitive in Mid-Rise Facade Design

Mid-rise is accelerating but cost pain creates the most competitive marketplace. Architects need to compete as a firm, a practice and even as an individual. Fibre cement will be explained in the portfolio of facade choices, with a laser focus on cost.

Alana Evans for Ceraclad will join me

U-Kon: From Simple to Passive: Learn from the Experts in Subsystems

Petra: Glass Fibre Reinformced Concrete (GFRC); Playdough for Architects

For all types of cladding, the subsystem is key in excellent design. It needs to be cost effective, constructable and meet ever increasing performance requirements. The integrated background in excellent design, and pre-designed systems can be configured from the simple, say 4” of insulation on flat wall, to passive or complex, consider 10” of insulation or with a stone facade of unique shape. The U-Kon / FSI expertise knows how.

Petra: Glass Fibre Reinformced Concrete (GFRC); Playdough for Architects

Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) is a system used around the world for decades which offers infinite shape, texture, and colour only limited by imagination. Think Zaha Hadid. Just like when we were kids, we played with playdough. Do you know it can be very cost effective too? Let’s demystify the technology and application.

Mahmoud Alfayez of Petra Cast will join me

Steni: School Facades are Tough, We Have a Proven Solution

School in Calgary, custom school colours, affordably.

The Ontario government is accelerating spending on the school infrastructure, in renovations, additions and new buildings. Architects can learn that there are no tradeoffs between aesthetics, reliability and cost. A system, which has been in Canada since the 60’s offers, and FSI’s knowledge offers such a facade solution.

Joseph D`Élia of Steni will join me.
