I run a series of live webinars each year for architects who want more than just checking a box.
Yes, you’ll earn your CEU credits.
But these sessions are built to give you something more useful — clearer thinking around façade systems, practical insight you can apply to real projects, and a better understanding of how things actually get built.
They’re interactive, question-driven, and grounded in real-world challenges — not product pitches.
To date, we’ve issued over 2,000 learning certificates, and many of these sessions have led to deeper conversations and real project work.
If you’re working through façade decisions and want sharper answers, you’re in the right place.

Dekton is one of the few façade materials that works across many building types. Today we’ll look at three things: simple and cost-effective 8 mm façade systems, integrated applications in curtain wall and prefabricated wall systems, and how architects around the world are using Dekton to create bold, iconic buildings.

Mid-rise is accelerating but cost pain creates the most competitive marketplace. Architects need to compete as a firm, a practice and even as an individual. Fibre cement will be explained in the portfolio of facade choices, with a laser focus on cost.
Alana Evans for Ceraclad will join me
For all types of cladding, the subsystem is key in excellent design. It needs to be cost effective, constructable and meet ever increasing performance requirements. The integrated background in excellent design, and pre-designed systems can be configured from the simple, say 4” of insulation on flat wall, to passive or complex, consider 10” of insulation or with a stone facade of unique shape. The U-Kon / FSI expertise knows how.
Alex Mirilenko U-Kon Systems will be joining me
Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) is a system used around the world for decades which offers infinite shape, texture, and colour only limited by imagination. Think Zaha Hadid. Just like when we were kids, we played with playdough. Do you know it can be very cost effective too? Let’s demystify the technology and application.
Mahmoud Alfayez of Petra Cast will join me
The Ontario government is accelerating spending on the school infrastructure, in renovations, additions and new buildings. Architects can learn that there are no tradeoffs between aesthetics, reliability and cost. A system, which has been in Canada since the 60’s offers, and FSI’s knowledge offers such a facade solution.
Joseph D`Élia of Steni will join me.
